Me thinks this would only effect a mbr that has standard winblows boot
records..  I would guess that we would immediately see it when grub
would not boot..   If I was running any windows boxes I would install
GRUB even if I was not dual booting..    Actually I already solved this
8 years ago when I stopped running windows..  Any thoughts on this.. Fred
