I had Sprint DSL when I lived in Altamonte, and it came with a CD that I
never even opened. I had Windoze and Debian machines running there. The
modem should plug in and sync regardless of what computer you have
connected, or without a computer at all. Even when I have had to get
into the modem to switch it into bridge mode, I used telnet and not any
ISP provided software. You'll be fine, enjoy your new speed, makes a
difference when downloading ISO's :-)
