[Leaplist] Fwd: Re: Can kids volunteer for install fest on Saturday?

Gavin.. this has worked just fine for years. If we are going to post
it here why would we need the announce list. But then again I have
absolutely no problem with receiving it on both lists.

The announce list sends out about 8 emails a month.. one each day for 4
days before each meeting as a reminder.

My vote is to keep the announce list.. and if we want to cross post..
thats fine with me.
But then on second thought why would we want to archive the
announcements which would happen if we sent them out on this list.. so
perhaps we shouldn't

But on second thought I guess it would not hurt to archive it.
But then I wonder if we have anyone who only uses only the announce
list.. and doesn't monitor this list. perhaps we should do both.. or
not.. oh hell lets vote on it at tomorrows meeting. Did we announce a
board meeting at every installfest? Most likely it might have been
announced the announce list..

But I thought everyone knew that the install fest is the 1st Saturday of
every month.
and the meeting is always the 3rd Thursday of the month.. Unless its a
holiday and then we announce a change on the "announce list" .. oops
lets change that.. if you aren't on the announce list you would not get
the announcement about the meeting change..

Maybee we need to post this info to both lists.. .. or not.. Fred
