I don't think Windows' disadvantage is its look and feel. Bill Gates spent
millions to get a look and feel people like, and many desktop managers copy
that look and feel. He spent the money, we get the benefit.
I use IceWM, which to me seems very Windows like. IceWM even has a Win95
theme, which is a great conversation starter. At an Installfest, I once had
David Harris do a screenshot of his WinXP machine, used it as my wallpaper
with the IceWM Win95 theme on Mandrake, and got a lot of people very
confused :-)
Windows is insecure, unstable, expensive, litigeous, and monopolistic, but I
kindof like its look and feel (or at least what I remember of its look and
feel).
Fred was right -- if U name your distro Vixta, you're asking for big trouble.
