The OSS community needs a complete branding overhaul.

Since we are talking product recognition and association...

I'd start with anything that can connect to the Internet
and begins with a capital letter "X" in it's name.

Then replace the term "open source" with something like
"secure source"
or
"Optional Source Software"

Ironic that the talent for creating new and better
software does not extend to it's naming conventions.
