There is a simple work around for FF and Linux not working with Hotmail, 
but still it is one more time (yes MS has done this in the past with FF 
on ALL OSs) that MS is showing its fear of OSS and the power of FireFox.


oh side note**

stats on my web page show that roughly 75% of the hits are from FF and 
roughly 6% are from IE (be it 6 or 7) with IE7 being more and more on 
the list due to the mandatory push that MS rolled out this month, or 
late last month of IE7 unless it was explicitly blocked by the end user.
