It suits my needs, but I am only on AIM for a couple contacts.  I never 
had much Jabber success with it.  It doesn't handle Jabber 'chatrooms' 
at all in the latest version.  Supposedly it'll work with gtalk, but I 
never managed to get my version of Kopete from KDE 3.5.5 to sign-in to it.
