Clearly it bothers you, or you wouldn't have taken the time to write all 
that stuff.

Personally I've found Pidgin or whatever they're calling it today to be 
unstable, contain an inconsistent interface, and integrate poorly with 
KDE.  I'd be embarrassed to trumpet it as some Open Source (tm) triumph.

You underestimate the intelligence of those reading the list if you feel 
it wasn't clear I was merely offering my opinion of the poor state of 
Jabber clients for X11.

Anyway, didn't you killfile me for posting the only off-topic post you 
didn't agree with? ;)
