I just realized, that is not well defined, and the "period" was added in
poor judgment.  I mean, Debian could be commended in so many ways here
as well.  My apologies for my poor phrasing in this regard.

The thing is that Red Hat is the only significant, commercial player in
the Linux space that has refused to back down on the patent and other IP
licenser/licensee considerations.

Please don't nitpick on this latter statement, and appreciate my usage
in the context I meant it.  I'm sorry, Canoncial has not, and Novell has
not.  Not saying they are not good for the Linux community, I'm just
saying I prefer the Red Hat approach, which is best for the community.
