[Leaplist] an ipcop question

Gang,

If I may tag on with my own related question....

I have an IPCOP box I plan to deploy Real Soon Now. At present, the blue 
net is a standard Ethernet card like the others.

Question 1: Given the understanding that what I want is an "access 
point" rather than a simple wireless link, can this be had on a PCI card 
that plugs into the place of the Ethernet card, or must a separate box 
be employed using an Ethernet link?

Question 2: Regardless the answer to the above, what specific devices 
would you recommend to someone who expects as many as six simultaneous 
active links and who doesn't much care if he can get in and muck about 
with the OS or firmware?
