[Leaplist] an ipcop question

Ok,

I have 3 nics, and I gave each an address.

nic1 -- address1 -- green
nic2 -- address2 -- blue
nic3 -- address3 -- orange

I have one, and only one, cable plugged into nic1.  I can ping all
three addresses.  Should I be able to?  Seems like I would need a cable
to each nic.
