[Leaplist] A decent Sound card

Jason,
Fact is, I do not have in depth technical knowledge to evaluate and choose one. What I was hoping is a recommendation of a brand/model that I can install in my PC that runs Ubuntu 8.04 and enjoy music.

I have a variant of that in my Biostar. I hate C-Media stuff. I've never had
any so far that isn't complete crap.
