The on-board audio on my Biostar socket 754 board is useless for analog
line-in for stuff like Skype. The gain wasn't enough. My old SB Audiology,
which is seemingly damaged, worked fine.
I don't think that one is an ALC600/800, though.
It's a shame the newer SB cards aren't necessarily compatible. Someday I'll
need to replace that Audiology card... Sigh.
