[Leaplist] Putting my time where my mouth is, give me the applications you use -- WAS: Free alternatives

Thanx Steve. One thing I do plan to add is an introductory
section on text and mark-up editing, which will include
VimOutliner.

I originally envisioned this as a blog entry, but now I believe it
will be a full whitepaper (over a dozen pages PDF). I have
been really meaning to do this for while. Since I cannot seem
to discipline myself to write a book, I'm going to start
writing Whitepapers that I will eventually put into a book.

I have so much e-mail, client-specific documentation, etc...
that it's time I just fill in more as their own papers and then
finally just reorganize that all into a book in the end.
