what? no. i could be way off base here (i'm wrong a lot), but here
are me feelings without the sarcasm:

when you make a website, you're doing so to support something or
display something useful to people. the attitude of "IF YOU DONT LIKE
IT YOU CAN JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE MISTER" makes me a sad panda. i
think if you're going to put up useful information on the internet you
should actually make the information useful, not completely ignore
readability and context. putting it up in a disorganized mess or a
mess that follows only your personal rules of organization isn't
really helpful.

there are so many software packages that do this for you that it is
simply inexcusable to have that sort of attitude (according to high
and mighty me :p). joomla, drupal, wordpress, movable type to name
just a few. these packages make it so you don't need to have an eye
for design to make sites readable and user friendly. heck, you could
even just make a simple wiki for the information.

i did mean my last comments to be sort of "mocking", but it was meant
in fun. i just think that the sort of attitude displayed by those
comments is unfriendly, negative and doesn't support positive change
in the slightest.

@john: kudos for trying to keep your users happy! without them, it
wouldn't be very much fun, would it?

in closing: you can take all this with a grain of salt since my
website, http://trustworthyalcoholic.com/, doesn't support much of
anything. ;)
