[Leaplist] new PGP key

Yeah, I know somebody put a whole bunch of references, but can we get a
short explanation? I know PGP is encryption, but why would I want it on
my e-mail? And what is all this "signing" and "fingerprint" and
"business card" stuff? Sweet and simple, PLEASE!
