[Leaplist] Network topology to split WAN to two LANs

That's how my network is set up. The cable modem goes into the IPCop
box, and that leads to 2 switches. I even have a Linksys cable router,
but I am only using the switch side of it. My wireless router plugs
directly into one of the switches. My printers are not network printers,
but are being handled by a debian server and cups. All of this is on a
single class C network.
The only time I had a segmented network was when I was taking Microsoft
Server 2003 in school. I had to set up a MS server at home as a domain
controller. Being I didn't want it interfering with the rest of my
network, I divided it with a router and put the MS side on it's own
network and it's own domain. Once I was done with that class, I took
that network down. Instead of dividing my network with a router, I could
have also divided the network with vlans as well (Cisco switch), but
decided on the router for no real reason.
