[Leaplist] EAs and rsync with ACL support (-A)

It seems, at least in Debian Etch, rsync is patched to support ACLs by 
using the -A option.  It sounds like that may mean it can backup all 
kinds of EA attributes[1].  Since I am using EAs for simulating 
attributes on files shared out via Samba (read-only, et al), I am 
curious if that means it can now copy those as well with the -A flag?
