This is all I'll say on-list ...

1.  I have no less than six (6) "hacked" appliances myself using AMD29K,
MIPS, IXP and other products

2.  I'm sorry I'm trying to warn people of the dangers of doing many
things with inadequate microcontrollers and using external USB 24x7

3.  I'm sorry people aren't aware of inexpensive ways of doing things --
e.g., sub-$10 ATA-to-CF w/CF card for solid state

4.  I'm sorry people don't recognize that I give a _lot_ of hardware
away, solving that ">$0" problem  <big grin>

5.  I'm sorry you find what I post "distractive" and "completely
meaningless information"

I think #5 is proof positive that some people just can't share their
views and leave them at that.  That's all I did.  I did not question
what people do, just the issues I've had when I did.
