[Leaplist] media computer

Debian can handle that no problem. I just installed Debian Etch on my
laptop and I have full multimedia capabilities, including w32 codecs.
You do need to add at least 1 source in your sources list, but they are
easy enough to do. You will also need to add the gpg key for the one
site, but that is also easy.

I will say that I had a difficult time getting sound to work on my
laptop, but I finally made a breakthrough after finding a site that
explained how to set up full multimedia in Debian Etch. Now it is
playing everything I throw at it, at least so far.

I do not know if I will be at the installfest tomorrow, I have a server
installation at 9:00 AM. If we get done in time, I will show up and I
will have my laptop with me. If you are there, I would love to give you
a hand with it.
