i know *that* it's possible, and if you were running qmail i could  
tell you exactly how to do it.

however, i haven't done anything with sendmail since migrating iag.net  
from sendmail to qmail in 1998. i vaguely recognize a few of the m4  
macros, but the "sendmail.cf" file (and the "feature" files which m4  
chewed on to produce a sendmail.cf file) are too convoluted for my  
taste.

hopefully somebody on the list will know sendmail well enough to be  
able to help you.
