[Leaplist] SCOX delisting imminent, closed at $0.20!

Here's something every Linux user with $20 can do.

  Buy 100 shares of SCOX.

You heard me right. BUY 100 SHARES OF SCOX.

Why would you do that? Well SCO is a publicly traded company. And last time I checked, every Linux user was a member of the public.

According to the NASDAQ website, SCO currently has a market capitalization of $4 million dollars. That means that if 100,000 Linux users each bought $20 worth of stock, then Linux users would own 50% of the shares of SCO.

  As a shareholder:
  1. they will be forced to send you an annual report
  2. you can pay a fee to have a stock certificate
3 you can sue the directors if you believe they mismanaged their fiduciary responsibilities to you
4 you can vote your shares at the next annual meeting
5.- you can vote to fire Daryl Mc Bride

Just my 20 cents. Heck I might even be tempted to buy $40 just so my vote will count twice as much.

On a serious note, though since SCOX is going up your $20 investment will likely be worthless. But on the other hand, it's about the same price as a large pizza.

What a shame. I liked SCO and Darl McBride a lot. They made their money the
hard way -- they litigated for it.

Oh well, we still have one remaining captain of industry, Microsoft.
