A friend has three wheelchairs, perhaps I might get one, and do some
robotics.  All three are for sale.

I have been involved in scratch building projects in industry, and
learned a lot from the experience.  One thing is that if a component or
sub-assembly is already on the market, and it meets the needs of the
project, buy that instead of "re-inventing the wheel".

Also, saw a really neato Safe Cracker Robot... Another MIT project!
