You get what you pay for.

There are "tests" and there are "tests".  But, for all real electronics
technicians, no part or component is really suitable in any machine, any
radio, TV, or computer, until it is tested for at least 24 hours in that
specific machine.

I have had memory tested in expensive machines that tested bad, but
worked and tested good in a computer.

I have also had memory tested by memory vendors who swore it was good,
and yes, it worked in SOME computers, but, not all, and did fail the
tests in Linux in some systems.

I have a theory, about all this, and it involves "Magic Smoke"!


The real test is where the rubber meets the road.
