[Leaplist] is there such thing as a cheap RAM memory stick tester?

Dear friends,

I increasingly find myself in the situation to have to swap RAM sticks to
see which one works and to get to the BIOS setup to check for which
motherboard speeds the RAM stick is designed to work with.

I was wondering, is there such thing as a cheap RAM tester into which I
could just stick some RAM and know whether it works, at what speed and how
big it is?

I look around on the net and I found these items for truly obscene prices:

Surely there must be something cheaper, way cheaper, out there to identify
and test RAM?

Thanks,

Andrei
