[Leaplist] Open Office Major Problem

I have lost numerous hours of spread sheet work.  The titles of the 
various sheets that I save the work to are in the documents saved page 
folder but when I attempt to bring up the saved copies I receive 
"/tmp/whittake/name of document.ods does not exist".

This on an AMD 64 bit machine. I can not think of any other possible 
reason for the loss.  Anyone with some other idea?
