There are USED and REFURBISHED commercial sized office productivity
laser printers locally, at Red Bug Lake Road and Semoran, at
http://cheaptronicsdepot.com

and there are often ones that handle ledger sized paper, like my Brother
MFC-8500 with it's CUPS wrapper drivers, that can be found in the Thrift
Stores, like I did mine, for cheap (mine was $24.95!).

And Costco sells these dozens, from $89.95 to $1,799 (color, ledger
sheet are the various options...):
