meaning, from the audience? i don't think fred and i would be the
only ones, there are several other LEAP members who use encryption on
a regular basis and who would probably make it a point to show up for
a key signing party.

i know i'm not the best in the world when it comes to public
speaking, however i could probably organize a key-signing. this web
page explains the process:

	http://cryptnet.net/fdp/crypto/keysigning_party/en/
keysigning_party.html

i used to carry cards suitable for an "informal party" (section 2.7
of the web page) but i found that i wasn't using them very often, so
now i have my "key ID" (the last 32 bits of the fingerprint) printed
on my normal business cards. however, if i know there's going to be a
party, i can print more and bring them with. in fact, when i get home
i'll find the file and put it up on my web page so people can use it
as a template and make their own cards.

however, what usually works better for a planned meeting (like a LEAP
meeting) is a "list party" (section 2.8 of the web page.) if we do
this, i'm willing to volunteer as the organizer- i'll gather the keys
(everybody needs to email them to me by noon on the day of the
meeting) and print up lists for everybody.
