[Leaplist] Installing on a Compaq Presario 5310US

I have a Compaq Presario 5310US, 1.2Ghz, 384MB RAM, 40Gb drive, CD
burner, DVD ROM.

It won't boot anything newer than PCLinuxOS - P93 and Kubuntu 5.04.

The repositories are too old and closed for those versions.

So, I had tried lots of distros, but I think Xorg has a problem with the
system components for graphics, plus, none will boot live, no matter
what config tweaks I try!

So, I tried the install of PC-BSD and that seemed to work, as it is
running the install now!

Woot!  PC-BSD is very cool, seems to run KDE as the default desktop!
