Attended the CFCS/FACUG today at the Bahia Shriners hall.

Handed out Mepis LiveCDroms, provided demo.

Stayed through to the last door prize drawing, and won
 the Office 2007 Ultimate Pack!  Supposedly costs $700.00!
I have a family member who needs it to meet the requirements in a
government contract!

There are some vendors in attendance, with computers, switches, PSUs,
cases, and accessories.

One vendor has New 3Com 24 port 100/Gigabit switches are $99.  Used, for
$55. 13port for $35.

There is a "network manager" in the stack, that he has no clue about as
to price.  It has the VGA in/out with PS2 keyboard port.

I have no clue as to it's purpose or value, either.  If you do, and need
one, go look it over.   Admission is free, please show up for free
registration and free raffle ticket.  Info on the CFCS.Org website.

Attendance wasn't overwhelming today, and your chances at the raffles is
probably great!  When I won, there were about 25 people  in attendance.
