I would think it
would depend on the quality of the US power-supply you used.
Traditionally, these have a fairly tightly regulated output (meaning
additional input voltage should just blow the supply/fuse - but not be
carried over to the DC side....and if it is, it'll be clamped from a
regulation standpoint). Now this is theory.
I would say,
the better the power-supply, the less likely it would be to mess things
up.....AND, considering that some US supplies can be supplied with 120 OR
220V sources , you should be ok.
The only real test is to
replace and run some burn-in testing (like memory test) for awhile and see
if any errors pop up.
