Sounds similar to the problem I had with an old PI system. The BIOS
could only see 8GB when I put in a 40GB drive (had several other small
drives on the same box). Windoze could only see the 8GB that the BIOS
saw, but Linux could see and use all 40GB. So don't confuse what the
hardware (and Linux) can handle with what the BIOS limit on the mobo is.
