Checking the news on line this morning and found this on the Channel 13 
site in the, Your Technology section .

This piece was about Ubuntu being a replacement for windows and that it 
worked well. Also it was pointed out how hard Vista has been for the 
average Joe and Jane and the hint was that Ubuntu was easier. I believe 
that last year we reach an inflection point and Linux is now on it's way 
to being main stream on the desktop.
