I can help out this Saturday, I'm not sure about the 15th yet. I just
e-mailed Stephanie and asked her the start times and how long the classes
are expected to last. I am also downloading edubuntu now to get familiar
with some of the educational software that is part of this distro. As soon
as I get the times from Stephanie, I will pass them along.

I hope that some others will be able to attend. I know that short notices
are hard to work around, I just happen to be available this Saturday. This
is a golden opportunity to teach Linux and possibly spread the love of Linux
to people who ordinarily might not have ever even heard of it. Who knows,
the next guru might be sitting in that room.

Hello! My name is Stephanie Petris and I am the 
Educational Technology Facilitator at Winter Springs 
Elementary School. On November 10th and 15th I will be 
hosting an Edubuntu training session here. I am donating 
computers to families without computers at home. The first 
part of my presentation will be a general overview. Then 
parents and children will branch off to practice with the 
computer that they will be taking home. I will have 
approximately 10 families here on each training day. I was 
wondering if anyone in your group would be willing to 
assist by showing the families how to use basic features 
and answer questions. I know that I won't be able to do it 
alone. 

If anyone in your group would be willing to volunteer I 
would greatly appreciate it. Please let me know if this is 
possible or if there is another group that might be 
available. I apologize for the short notice.
