In the package listing for Mepis 6.,5 on Distrowatch, it notes that
uDev is a dynamic package listing program for devices...
I think that means I can't edit it, only the root data that lets it
operate...  So, back to a small bit of confusion, as to how to make the
external devices open for users to use for storage, read/write...
