[Leaplist] PDF tools

Glad to help Andrei,

By the way, in my latest book I moved away from PDF tweaking and started doing
more with tweaking the LyX (or LaTeX as appropriate) file, and then
compiling. I'm now putting the book cover on inside the LaTeX file rather
than patching it onto the front with pdftk.

I've discovered that when writing a book in LyX, it's most handy to "fine
tune" the front matter with a lot of ERT (Evil Red Text, embedded LaTeX)
rather than selecting a document class just to accommodate needs in the
frontmatter. I believe the frontmatter is meant to be pieced together
manually, as every frontmatter is a one-off. I save the document class
features for mainmatter, where consistincy is essential.
