Those are excellent arguments for why novice users would be better off
running Linux.  _Because_ the user can't "point and click" their way to
deleting /etc (for example) Linux is the better choice.

That reminds me of something I read once:
"To create a crash working with Linux you have to work at it,
to create a crash with Windows you have to work on it."

As well they should.  Sooooo... tell them about it and get them to try it.
