JOB DESCRIPTION:
This administrator will administrate special Linux RedHat 9 servers
which will be deployed to remote locations. This administrator will
maintain current deployments and develop new templates for future
deployments.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Requires an in-depth knowledge of the Linux operating system, working
TCP/IP knowledge, network monitoring, system diagnostic knowledge,
advanced system administration experience.
* Requires excellent customer service skills, including written and
verbal communications. Must also be able to contribute technical
solutions to development application problems when required.
* Requires minimum of four years experience in UNIX system programming
and administration, including hardware and software performance
monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting, application of system software
patches.
* Requires a four year college degree in computer science or related
field or equivalent experience in business, government or educational
environment.
DESIRED SKILLS:
* Experience with Redhat 9.
