actually, i have a lexar "firefly" 2GB stick, formatted for the mac  
(HFS+ filesystem), and i use it with two different macs (the iMac  
desktop and a powerbook G4 laptop) and have had no problems with it  
at all. in fact, it seems to be faster than the PNY 1GB stick that  
this replaced.
