You didn't mention local or not, so here goes: try these guys (out of

I have bought machines from them (desktops) & they *DID* sell them w/o 
OS for about a $99-ish discount. That was a few years ago (2001-ish), 
but you might give them a try .... $0.02, no more, no less.
