I think the real question is whether it involves sending your data back to
Google. Apple Spotlight runs locally, so your data isn't being sent
anywhere. Also, unlike Beagle/etc., Spotlight doesn't peg your system
with performance-degrading I/O activity when it does its indexing. (never
used the Google search tool)
