[Leaplist] Linux Gaming, more than FREE!

The problem is finding the **right kind** of game. I have slow reflexes
and want to THINK about what I am doing, so first-person-shooters are
really not for me (nor are most "real time action" games). I followed
the link and found "Wesnoth," a turn-based game, but it seemed awfully
complicated, and also awfully wordy.
I had (maybe still have) some games for the Sega Genesis, the "Phantasy
Star" series and "Shining in the Darkness" which I always enjoyed -
basically RPGs. Is there any way to get something like these for Linux?
I think I've heard of some sort of emulator, but don't have a clue how I
could plug a Sega cartridge into a PC. Or are there copies of these
games available which I could download (more or less legally since I do
own the cartridges)?
