Nat Friedman: Choose Vista + ignore Linux desktops = face shareholders’
wrath

,----[ Quote ]
| Linux desktop adoption is steadily increasing worldwide, but people
| don’t recognize this fact because there hasn’t been a big adoption
| surge, Friedman said.

My view: GNU/Linux, *BSDs, even Solaris, free to DL, don't count users
like it is going to influence some group of share holders in their
purchase of stock...

So, without apples to compare, the commercial lock-in proprietary
software vendors are actually spouting lies about how much 'market
share' anyone in the entire world actually holds!

I think there is a rule somewhere in Sarbanes-Oxley law about reporting
actual facts... So, some of the market media hype is illegal after
2006. Watch for it.
