[Leaplist] Wow, on my New, 64 bit, system!

Ok, up and running with my first modern 64 bit system.  Wow!

It is running the Mepis 64Bit version 6.5.  and, I plugged in the DVI
cable to the DVI video port. Wow!

MSI K8NGM2-FID board with nVidia on board.  Best $89.00 I ever spent!

One issue with Mepis, PClinuxOS, and maybe others, I tick it to use the
entire hard drive, simply so my filesystem doesn't fill up, and then I
can't log in...

I know there has to be some answer to making the partition expand a bit
larger... without killing the user files...

here is what happens:
 I select on install, for it to use the entire remaining drivespace, to
install the OS, but, it makes a 10 Gb /hda1 then a partition /hda2 for
the rest.  My swap file is prior, first partition on the drive, but not
seen in the OS list...
