As I wrote earlier, I got a MSI 64bit K8NGM2-FID mainboard, with Sempron
3000+ processor, in the mail for $89.00, complete, including ground
shipping.

I put it into a case, added a 30Gb hard drive, and it all booted Mepis
6.5 64bit Live CDrom in a few seconds, complete with 1900 X 1200
resolution on my 18" TTX monitor, and the sound worked great!

Mepis is simply part Ubuntu, Debian based, with the Knoppix cloop. This
is rocket science, or magic! IT is all so smooth and easy, that the
advocacy of Linux is a lot easier today, than ever before!
