Yeah, because the last time that multiple convicted felon pirate
Microsoft was in Court with a lawsuit about their theft of IP, using
products without paying for them, nor paying the previously agreed upon
royalties, was when all those colleges and Universities (Five of them,
AFAIK) won some $105 million in payments, and multiple penalties for the
fraud. That was in 2005.
But, stuff has changed, been improved... and there is a hell of a lot of
great code out there to be sucked up and used for their own gain! Too
bad Microsoft doesn't like to pay for it, until the little guys spend 6
years in court, suing them!
