Only four partitions? Are you running on Mac hardware?
And, isn't it a probability that using a partition for storage in one OS
and for swap file in any other OS means that all stored data gets fully
wiped out upon boot up of that Linux system?
Maybe I don't understand your partitioning table.
I also quit multi-booting long ago, so have no issues with that, nor,
other problems that popped up. Mepis Linux is the preferred distro, and
any others that I will try out run in the Live CDrom, in my testing or
learning of them.
If I ever decided to try to run some of my old retail boxed games, I
would run VMWare, or Wine, or DOSEMU, as required.
I do think I have everything I need in Mepis, to play FreeCraft,
Monopoly (Atlantik), Risk, Simple Life, and others...
Linux is more advanced for games than I am competent to play at.
