I have a Buffalo AirStation WBR-G54. Linux-able and reasonably well 
featured. Halfway useful web management. I have seen them online for as 
low as $50, used or refurbished.

I bought my parents a recent Linksys (non-Linux-able) and that was 
trouble-free to set up and use. That was $50 new at the local CompUSA. 
If you aren't flashing it, it would be a good choice.
