And I'm definitely not average, in that I outright *refuse* to use a 
"wireless router."  I'd rather just get a "wireless access point," and 
leave the routing and/or NAT functions to a totally separate box.

That being said, I'm very happy with my NetGear ProSafe WG302, which 
doesn't even hide the fact that its firmware is Linux based (just plug 
into the serial port on the back and turn it on).  Then again, its also 
quite pricy unless you buy it off eBay.
