That is so sad.  But, an excuse to buy a new board with CPU that is
better, faster...

I am running this 64 bit Sempron 3000+ with 768 MB DDR PC3200, set up as
the book says it should be, with only an IDE drive. Running Mepis 64,
rev6.5, it is almost identical in most functions as to speed as the
Athlon 32 bit XP 2200, 2000, 1800, 1600 systems here, with the Mepis 32
bit rev 6.5.

But, now, I just had a UPS 500 burn up, (the Metal Oxide Varisters are
smoked) and the power seems to be dirty here, too.   Now, my AMD 2200
has an erratic mouse.  It is on a different UPS, as are all my systems.

But, dirty and intermittant power can sure mess them up, it seems!
